Understanding Ohm’s Law
Ohm’s Law states that voltage equals current multiplied by resistance (V = I x R). Once voltage is known, power can be found by multiplying voltage by current (P = V x I).
Common Uses
Electricians and hobbyists use Ohm’s Law to size wiring, choose fuses and breakers, and understand how components behave in a circuit.
